Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowships in the Humanities and Social Sciences

Indiana Wesleyan University’s John Wesley Honors College (JWHC) invites applications for its 2009-2011 postdoctoral teaching fellowship in the humanities and social sciences.  Scholars wishing to explore their academic vocation within the context of an intensive Christian liberal learning community are encouraged to apply.  Fellows receive two-year appointments in the JWHC with the possibility of re-appointment for a third year.

The Fellowship is open to scholars in any of the following areas of study: history, philosophy, religion, theology, Biblical studies, literature, creative writing, fine arts, economics, sociology, anthropology, psychology, and political science.  Candidates for the 2009-2011 Fellowship must have received, or will receive, their PhD (or equivalent terminal degree) between January 1, 2006 and August 20, 2009.  JWHC Fellows are expected to be in residence for the duration of their appointments.
