I had the privilege of serving as a student researcher on the project “To Bear Fruit for Our Race.”  The University of Houston Center for Public History sponsored the project, to study and tell the story of African American physicians in Houston in the twentieth century.  The website has a Story Experience, great documents, and even lesson plans.  Enjoy!
