CFH Call for Papers!

Dear Member of the Conference on Faith and History:

I am writing to encourage you to participate in the organization’s upcoming
biennial meeting, which will be held at George Fox University October 7-9,
2010.  (A conference for undergraduate students will precede it, on October
6-7.)

The deadline for submitting paper or panel proposals for the main
conference has been extended from March 1 to April 5.  The theme of this
year’s gathering is “The Search for Peace, Justice, and Equality,” but the
program committee also welcomes proposals outside this theme.  (Indeed, the
majority of papers will fall outside the theme.)  You can find guidelines
for proposals at http://www.huntington.edu/cfh/guidelines.pdf.

If you have not previously attended a CFH meeting, please consider doing so.
As a professor at a secular institution, the CFH meetings have been like an
oasis in the desert for me.  I’ve found the environment collegial,
stimulating, and deeply encouraging-a marvelous forum for sharing one’s
ideas and having one’s ideas challenged and refined.  It would be great to
see you there.

If you have questions, please contact me at r7t14@u.washington.edu.

Sincerely,
Tracy McKenzie
University of Washington
2010 Program Chair
